Responsible for encoding, building, burning, and QCing DVDs of television and film production dailies, edited masters, and security film screeners from various tape and digital sources. Adept with Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Compressor. Self-taught on Shake. Extensive experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite applications, most notably Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. Strong knowledge of both Windows and Mac OS X environments.

Well versed in: videography; videotape and digital video formats, standards, conversion and management; compositing basics such as mattes, keys, roto, and tracking; network design and maintenance; typography/print design.
 

Production Experience

Assisted in all stages of production (pre through post) on four separate short student films (ranging in length from 14 to 45 minutes) and a five minute music video, including camera-work, boom operation, lighting, capture, editing, color correction, compositing, motion graphics/packaging, poster design, and DVD creation.

Chief editor/finisher for an extracurricular documentary covering a 100-person campus-wide publicity event which was then duplicated onto DVDs and sold to benefit non-profit campus organizations and charities.
